SOFT ROBOTICS

As an intern at NASA Johnson Space Center's robotics group, I developed prototypes for the Tendril 2 robot. Tendril 2 is a soft, snake-like robot that can change its shape to navigate around the world.
We designed Tendril 2 to be thinner than a human finger, and operate both in space and the human body; it will someday be used to inspect hard-to-reach places on the International Space Station, and also help doctors performing surgeries.
